You Are Not Alone

Maybe you've been feeling overwhelmed,
exhausted, or just not like yourself.

Anxiety that won't quiet down. ADHD that's been misunderstood for years. Depression that makes even small things feel impossible. Burnout that's left you running on empty. Whatever you're carrying — it doesn't have to stay this heavy.

"Getting help isn't a sign of weakness. It's one of the bravest things you can do for yourself."

Dr. Jessie Cirolia

Dr. Jessie Cirolia
DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

"I went into psychiatry because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard — not just treated."

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience in family medicine before transitioning into psychiatric care. That background shapes how I approach every appointment — because your mental health doesn't exist in isolation from the rest of your life.

My clinical perspective was grounded early on by five years of intensive work with first responders — an experience that deepened my commitment to resilience and specialized support. That dedication led me to complete my doctoral research on LGBT+ health, focused on expanding provider education and ensuring equitable, inclusive care for every patient who walks through my door.

I've served as faculty at multiple universities, including the University of Florida, and have been recognized as a national speaker on preventative care and metabolic health. But what I value most is the trust built one appointment at a time — seeing you as a whole person, not just a chart. Outside of practice, travel, staying active, and time with my cats keep me grounded — and remind me what a genuinely fulfilling life can look like.

Specialized Assessment

ADHD Evaluation & Treatment

A thorough ADHD assessment goes far beyond a checklist. I conduct structured clinical interviews, validated rating scales, and a detailed developmental history to build a complete and accurate picture — for both adults and adolescents.

Adults (18+) Adolescents Diagnostic Evaluation Medication Management
📋
Comprehensive Clinical Interview
A structured, in-depth conversation covering symptom history, onset, functional impairment across settings, and co-occurring conditions.
📊
Validated Rating Scales
Standardized, evidence-based tools (such as the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale, Conners' scales, and QbCheck) to objectively quantify symptom severity.
🔍
Differential Diagnosis
ADHD symptoms often overlap with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I carefully rule out and identify co-occurring conditions.

Finally Get Clarity on Your ADHD

Many adults and adolescents have lived for years with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed ADHD — struggling in school, work, and relationships without understanding why. I provide thorough, compassionate ADHD evaluations that give you real answers and a clear path forward.

Whether you're an adult finally seeking answers or a parent concerned about your teen, my ADHD assessments are designed to be accurate, thorough, and affirming — not just a quick questionnaire.

👤
Adult ADHD EvaluationsMany adults were never diagnosed as children. Whether you've always wondered or have been recently struggling, it's never too late to get answers.
🎒
Adolescent ADHD EvaluationsFor teens struggling in school or at home, early identification and support can be life-changing. I work with both teen and family throughout the process.
💊
Post-Diagnosis Medication ManagementFollowing a confirmed ADHD diagnosis, I can initiate and manage stimulant or non-stimulant medications with careful monitoring and adjustment.

From your first inquiry to long-term care, here's exactly what you can expect when becoming a patient at Whole Body & Mind Health.

📋

📞
Step 02
Insurance Verification & Onboarding

Once your request is received, my team will verify your insurance benefits and confirm your coverage before your first appointment. Insurance verification Electronic paperwork Health history questionnaire Most major insurances accepted
🩺
Step 03
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (60 min)

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation — not a rushed visit. I will review your history in detail, ask thoughtful questions about your symptoms, daily functioning, past treatments, and personal goals. You'll have plenty of time to share everything on your mind. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan — whether that involves medication, further assessment, referrals, or a combination.

60 minute appointment Full psychiatric history review Collaborative treatment planning Medication initiation if appropriate ADHD assessment if indicated
💊
Step 04
Medication Initiation & Early Follow-Up

If medication is started, a follow-up appointment is typically scheduled within 2–4 weeks to assess your response, monitor for side effects, and make any necessary adjustments. I am responsive and accessible — if something comes up between appointments, you're not left waiting.

2–4 week follow-up Medication response monitoring Side effect management Dose adjustments as needed
🌿
Step 05
Ongoing Care & Long-Term Wellness

As your treatment stabilizes, follow-up appointments typically move to every 1–3 months depending on your needs. I continue to monitor your progress, adjust your plan as your life evolves, and coordinate with any therapists, primary care providers, or specialists involved in your care. Your wellness journey is ongoing — and so is my support.
